The Southeast Netherlands is a great place for culture and leisure. The social and cultural facilities in the region are excellent. In the main cities Eindhoven and Maastricht, there is an abundance of museums, galleries, film houses, exhibitions, concerts, and theatre performances.

The region also offers a wide choice in restaurants, pubs, cafés, and nightspots. For those who prefer the great outdoors, the countryside in the region is surprisingly green, and it is a lovely area for those who like to bike, to walk, or simply enjoy a beer on a picturesque terrace on a small village market square.

Therefore, it does not matter whether it is raining cats and dogs or whether the sun is shining; in the Southeast Netherlands there is always something to do!
