In the Netherlands, people love to play basketball although it is not as popular as it is in the United States. We do have a national league, but it does not comprise many teams. Fitness/gymnastics
Fitness is a very popular sport in the Netherlands. You will find gyms everywhere, sometimes even in your office building. Larger companies often have sports facilities for their employees, so ask around at work. If they do not have anything for their employees, check your community guide for addresses.
Healthcity is an organisation with gyms in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Apart from basic fitness without trainer, which is very cheap, the chain also has very large gyms with all kinds of trainers, swimming pools, and saunas. 0900- 0603 (10 ct/minute)
